The Importance of Family Intervention in Drug Addiction Recovery

In our attempt to get recovered from our drug addiction permanently, we should realize that family has important function. Family support becomes very important because our family is our closest society in which we will have close interaction most of the time. Through a drug free environment created by our family, we will likely be able to be free from a drug relapse that usually occurs after we graduate from a rehabilitation center.

Realizing the importance of family intervention in our recovery process, we can consider attending a rehabilitation center that involves family in the treatment program.
