July 15, 2009 By: admin Category: Diets, Fitness

General health goes with a strong body that’s being fed nutritiously and is physically active. Most of us realize that ready to lose weight and get healthy we must combine diet and fitness through a concentrated and consistent implementation of a healthy food plan and exercise regime. For the 1st several weeks concentrate on removing those food groups that are high in saturated fat, or greasy, fried foods. Start adding more freshly fruits and vegetables and lean proteins into your diet. Following this, start to eliminate those items containing sugar including products made from white flour. Go towards a diet and fitness program that concentrates on whole, natural foods and avoids any food that’s processed in any way and is therefore likely to contain sugar and preservatives.

A diet and fitness regime must as well account for physical activity and this should be came in gradually too. Work towards a consistent and weekly regime that includes cardiovascular practise – such as walking, running, and aerobics; stretching and core work – such as yoga or Pilates; and weight training – specified the lifting of free weights or the use of machines.

A calendar is as well a good place to write in specific fitness workouts or key diet days. When you see the checks piling up you know you’re on the right track! Write in the days of special parties to remind yourself that if you want a piece of cake, you will have to work out a bit harder beforehand.

Rewards tend to work good with diet and fitness goals. Treat yourself to afresh clothing item, but only when it is a size down. Or give yourself an incentive: you will get a new book or magazine if you reach a specific weight goal. Make your rewards good enough that you will reach the goals, but don’t break your bank. A brand-new car might only be a reward if you successfully lose 75 pounds.
