Healthy nutrition is the key word to keeping our body healthy, and in good physical shape. The correct nutrition includes moderate quantities of all of the essential factors required, including carbohydrates, proteins, minerals, vitamins and also fats. The good food imparts glowing on your face, and keeps your hair shining. What with restaurants present in every nook and corner, and temptations rising high, it’s hard to abstain from consuming the so called tasteful, oily and fried food. To raise your skin health you should eat fruits, green leafy vegetables, natural juices, and avoid oily fried stuff. Unlike a common misconception, vegetarian food is high on proteins, vitamins, and minerals, wherever we have lentils, green leafy vegetables, milk and milk products, which are proved to be even better than meat.

The key nutrient is vitamin A. It can be found in fruits and vegetables. Vitamin A helps cell reproduction such as to increase vision, promotes bone and tooth development, and also maintains healthy skin, hair, and mucous membranes. A lack of Vitamin A can cause trouble such as night blindness, poor bone growth, dry skin, and weak tooth enamel. To maintain healthy nutrition habits, males should have at least 10,000 IU per day while females 8,000 per day.

Vitamin C is also important to maintain the body health. Vitamin C is important as an antioxidant. It protects your body’s tissues from the damage of oxidation. It is also effective to protect the body from diseases. Adults are recommended to consume 60 milligrams of Vitamin C per day.
